Destiny Odom made obvious her attempt to harm her-self through bodily harm using a knife, and how low of a self esteem she possesses. She has tweeted that she is “drowning in her emotions.” Astonishingly, when she was asked how many times she cuts herself, she replied “that she does not count.” Whoa. Destiny needs someone to talk to, maybe a certified therapist.
Lamar Odom says that Destiny is receiving professional guidance and that they are concerned for her well being. Social media sites are not helping the situation any when it comes to this troubled teen. Since this is a private dilemma, social media and the world should not have any say-so in this predicament.
