We told you yesterday that Lil’ Scrappy was arrested for violating parole stemming from a 2008 marijuana possession case, and now we know more details.

Two weeks ago, he filed documents with the DeKalb County Superior Court asking that his warrant be recalled even though he admits he missed a “check-in” meeting with his probation officer on August 9, 2012.   He told the court it was an honest mistake as he had been on non-reporting status for a year and a half and didn’t know a check-in date had been made.

Because a judge hadn’t ruled on his request by yesterday, the cops had a valid reason to arrest him. As for now, he’s out of jail.
