After taking an ordered drug test in Virginia back in June, Judge Patricia Schnegg in L.A. revealed today that Chris Brown tested positive for marijuana. In order to keep with the terms of his 5-year-probationary period, illegal drugs like weed just aren’t allowed.
The Judge told a silent Chris in court today:
“You are not an average person sitting in a living room. You are not only in the public eye, but you are on probation.”
There was no repercussion given at the time of the hearing, but the Judge did order an additional hearing in November to review various probation records. According to the
Chicago Tribune, Judge Schnegg stated that Chris produced a medical marijuana card after the positive test.
His ex, Rihanna, who was the victim of the night Chris received the assault charges for, tweeted words of support right before his hearing today saying:
