This story breaks my heart. A Bronx mother of four was shot and killed in front of her 2-year-old son’s hand. She collapsed in the street while still holding his hand.

Claudia Millan, 29, was was her way home from a store run when she was shot in the face around 11pm.

Her neighbor, Edit Rivera, was watching Millan’s three other children when she heard the shot and ran out to find her friend lying dead next to her toddler son Jamir.

“She was holding his hand,” said Edith Rivera, 57. “She was a good mother. She’s about her kids.”

Millan leaves behind an 11-year-old son, who is blind, an 8-year-old daughter, a 7-year-old son and the 2-year-old.
