Over the weekend, Jumping The Broom  made $16M at the box office surpassing the projected amount. This made it the third most popular film nationwide.

According to theYBF, Movie experts say part of the success was due to Sony reaching out to faith-based audiences as well as tie-ins with TLC’s wedding programming and Royal Wedding coverage. 

The high numbers the film brought in was also a huge success since it was only made with $6.6 million dollars. I saw this movie over the weekend and I must say I give it two thumbs up!!
