T.I. was recently sentenced to another 11 months in prison after violating his probation on drug charges . Regarding this sentence, T.I. said:
“I want drugs out of my life. If I can get the treatment and counseling I need… I can beat this. I need help. For me, my mother, my kids, I need the court to give me mercy.”
When asked about Tip’s diluted urine samples, T.I.’s attorney Dwight L. Thomas said:
“There are lots of reasons for diluted urine. One can drink a lot of alcohol at night…as the judge indicated, you could be very tired, you could be very dehydrated and you hydrate excessively. That could give an indication of diluted urine but not necessarily…intentionally diluted urine.”
