U.S. Women’s Track & Field Relay Team Captures Gold Medal After Previous Baton Drop

18-Year-Old Server Mortified After Couple Leaves Racist Note

Instead of a tip, an 18-year-old Harrisburg, Virginia teen working at a local restaurant was left with a receipt that said, “We only tip citizens,” by a couple she serviced. Horrified, Sadie Karina Elledge showed the disturbing note to her grandfather, who posted an image of the receipt on Facebook. Underneath the photo he addressed his granddaughter’s attackers by writing, “You are a complete and total piece of dung.” Elledge is an American citizen born to parents from Honduras and Mexico. Advocates Want Charges Dropped Against Bronx Man Who Killed His Wife’s Attempted Rapist

On Saturday, supporters of 61-year-old Mamadou Diallo gathered at the Bronx district attorney’s office pleading for prosecutors to drop charges against Diallo. Diallo is accused of killing his wife’s attempted rapist, Earl Nash, 43, in May. A final decision on the specific charges will be made after Nash’s autopsy is completed next month.
