In 1996, a six-year-old pageant queen named JonBenét Ramsey was mysteriously murdered in her Boulder, Colorado home.

Twenty years later, one of the most publicized police investigations is being revisited with a new CBS crime series called The Case Of JonBenét Ramsey.

From Entertainment Weekly:

‘”The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey’ is a true-crime limited event series that reunites the original investigators of this unsolved murder and teams them with new experts — including a former New Scotland Yard criminal behavioral analyst and a retired FBI supervisory special agent — as they re-examine the 1996 case of JonBenet Ramsey, a 6-year-old beauty pageant contestant who was found dead in her home in Boulder, Colorado after her parents reported her missing.

The six-hour series, executive produced by Tom Forman (‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, 9/11’), airs on Sept. 18, 19, and 25, and a new trailer for the program shows the team poring over the evidence, aided by technological advances and new interviews, and generating new theories.”

“This little girl’s homicide to this date has been unresolved,” James Fitzgerald, retired FBI special agent, shares in a new three-minute trailer. “In my opinion, I think we can change that right now.”
