Floyd Mayweather announced his career is over after beating Andre Berto in a 12 round SHOWTIME PPV match Saturday September 12th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This win brings Mayweather’s record to 49-0, 26 KOs, matching the record of the late heavyweight champion Rocky Marciano, who retired in April 1956. While some consider this feat as concrete evidence that Floyd Mayweather is “The Best Ever,” many believe he should go for a 50-0 record to solidify his 19-year career.

Andre Berto now sits with a record of 30-4, 23 KOs.
