It has been reported that the Pistons have also traded Gigi Datome and Jonas Jerebko to Boston for Tayshaun Prince.

Detroit Police looking for missing 11 year old girl

Detroit police need your help to find a missing girl. 11 yr. old Kimari McIver was last seen around 10 p.m. Security video shows her walking away from her apartment complex on the 2500 block of W. Grand River. She is described as an African American female, 11 years old, 5’2″, 110 lbs., medium skin tone, straight shoulder length hair, wearing a red jogging suit with a white hood and sleeves and dark colored shoes. Her mother believes she may have left with an older man. If anyone has seen Kimari, please contact Detroit Police Criminal Investigations at (313) 596-5340.

Man who planned to join Isis arrested at Metro Airport

A man who planned to join Isis and kill in the name of Islam, but the FBI found him first in Michigan.

Chilling details are coming out about the 29-year-old Al-Hamzah Mohammad Jawad arrested as he tried to fly out of Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus. The Iraqui was here on a green card bought a one-way ticket to Iraq and said he intended to join Isis to kill in the Jihad.

“This is recruiting 101 for a group like Isis,” said Andrew Arena, former head of the Detroit FBI office.”They reach out and they find these people on the internet and they start corresponding with them.

“It’s full-on recruitment.”

Tuesday he left his East Lansing apartment planning to fly out of Detroit to Amman, Jordan. As he boarded the jet, FBI agents questioned Jawad.

At first he told agents he was going to visit his mother, but later he then admitted he had lied to the FBI and he actually intended to join Isis.

At the same time Isis is beheading Christians he pledged allegiance to Isil leader Sheikh Al Baghdadi. Jawad said had been recruited by his childhood friend Saad Asham and planned to join, train and fight with Isis.

He said he was promised a uniform and weapons. The FBI locked Jawad up in a US Marshal’s jail cell in Detroit, charged with lying to a federal agent. But are there other’s leaving here to join the jihad.

“What worries you is what you don’t know,” Arena said. “Though some good work or through some luck, they got this guy. Who else is out there, that’s the question.”

“I agree, Andy Arena is correct, Isis is recruiting,” said Osama Siblani, the publisher of the Arab-American News. “They are not only recruiting from the United States, they are recruiting from all around the world.”

“We have people in this country ready to go and fight with Isis. And we have people in this country who are crazy and want to kill Muslims.”

Siblani said he has noticed hate speech on social media.

“They are putting it on Facebook and Twitter,” Siblani said.”Like ‘let’s burn Dearborn down because it has Muslims and Arabs, let’s start by burning Dearborn down to the ground.’”

Siblani sent the posts to the FBI and now Facebook has removed the posts.

Meanwhile after the arrest at Metro Airport, federal investigators are now combing through Al Hamzah Mohammad Jawad’s apartment, his computers and phones to discover his contacts and connections.
