It’s the final countdown for BET’s “106 & Park,” which will be ending its run by the end of the year.

All good things must come to an end, and StuffFlyPeopleLike.com reports that the daily video roundup is going off the air after 14 years. December 19 will be the last episode.

“106 & Park” has been through a number of changes during its many seasons as hosts rotated into and out of the line up. What started out as a two-host show with AJ and Free was briefly led by four people, including Shad Moss (b.k.a. Bow Wow). It wasn’t long before BET ended that experiment; the network kept Shad and chucked the rest of the cast in order to pair him up with Keshia Chante. They’ll have the honor of closing out the show’s TV presence.

BET’s hit show won’t be completely gone, though, as it simply switching to an online format.

“That very valuable brand is going to take its talents to the digital realm. The interactive brand you helped build, ’106 & Park,’ is alive and well,” BET President of Music Programming and Specials Stephen Hill said in a statement. “It’s moving to the space in which our audience NOW interacts with music the most: online.”

He added, “It’ll be very exciting to connect with the millions of people that are already engaged with ’106 & Park’ and other BET digital and social media entities.”

It’s not clear whether hosts Shad and Keshia will be involved in the digital format. Shad’s really going to the need the coins since he’s planning a wedding with “Love & Hip Hop” star Erica Mena. After that huge masquerade bash he threw for her birthday, he’s really got to bring it for their nuptials.

Shad and Keshia will most likely still be collecting some checks from BET, though, because the network did state that “106 & Park” would still air TV specials.
