The award for Coolest Dad of the Week has to go to Lance Underwood for his creative reworking of classic album covers. With the cooperation of his two sons he flips vintage artwork from groups like Mobb Deep, Outkast, Gang Starr as well as soloists like John Coltrane and Nas and Ice Cube. We’re not even sure these kids are old enough to listen to most of these but they certainly have something to look forward to when they do. You can see the full collection at his TUMBLR QT ALBUMs, but we have a few of them below.

Black Moon’s “Enta Da Stage”

Gang Starr’s “Daily Operation”

DJ Jazzy Jeff  & The Fresh Prince “He’s The DJ I’m The Rapper”

John Coltrane, “Blue Train”

Outkast “Stankonia”
