Legendary African-American publication Ebony Magazine has found itself in some hot water following its “Scandal Issue.” The magazine is being sued by Leon Isaac Kennedy, the former husband of 70s bombshell Jayne Kennedy.

Leon Isaac Kennedy, his ex-wife’s former manager turned evangelist, is suing the magazine because in their “Scandal Issue,” they made mention of the Kennedys’ infamous sex tape. In Ebony’s February 2013 issue, the magazine claimed Jayne Kennedy’s first husband leaked the sex tape although Leon was never officially named in the article.

Leon Isaac Kennedy is suing the magazine because he claims the sex tape was stolen by a third party and leaked to the public almost ten years after the couple finalized their divorce. Kennedy is claiming he has lost more than $35,000 in canceled ministering dates since the article hit the public. He also alleges amount of invitations to speak at other churches and functions has gone down about 40 percent. He’s currently seeking an unspecified amount of damages.
