We’ve enjoyed 19 seasons of “America’s Next Top Model” and now Tyra Banks’ hit reality competition show is headed to Africa.

According to reports, “Africa’s Next Top Model” will begin filming in Cape Town, South Africa in August. The spin-off will feature 12 models from across the continent and be hosted and executive produced by Nigerian supermodel Oluchi Onweagba Orlandi.

“I am excited to be hosting Africa’s Next Top Model and it is great to be part of the successful America’s Next Top Model franchise that Tyra Banks created and has hosted for an impressive 20 cycles thus far in the U.S,” Orlandi said. “The African version of the franchise is long overdue and I expect the show to be a smashing success across the continent.”

The show will be a partnership between Orlandi-owned LuLu Productions and Never Machine productions with Gavin Wratten as co-executive producer, who is best known for creating “Idols South Africa.”

The “Next Top Model” franchise is currently broadcast in 36 countries, including Italy, Brazil, China and France.
