You already know her as one-fifth of the pop/R&B girl group Danity Kane as well as one-third of the Bad Boy Records supergroup Diddy Dirty Money, but now it’s time to get to know R&B singer/songwriter Dawn Richard in her own spotlight.

After a string of highly successful releases as a member of the aforementioned groups, followed by her own instant solo success with the “A Tell Tale Heart” mixtape and the “Armor On” EP, which hit number one on iTunes independent charts within hours of its release, Dawn Richard proved that she is ready to conquer the world and push the sound of R&B forward to a whole new level.

She’s seriously becoming an industry force to be reckoned with all on her own and we are so proud to see this journey unfold. With sickening trendsetting fashions, her deep lyrical content, heavy bass lines, immense creativity and catchy hooks that will leave you yearning for more, expect the release of Dawn Richard’s full length debut album “GoldenHeart” and the two subsequent installations of the album’s trilogy (“BlackHeart” and “RedemptionHeart”) to be just as intense, innovative and inspiring.

If you’re not down with Dawn, now is the time to do so by picking up her current catalog on iTunes and her official website. Be sure to pick up “GoldenHeart” on January 15, 2013 when the world will finally see exactly what she’s been up to. In the meantime, follow her on Twitter – @DawnRichard and stay tuned for more.
