Lil Wayne’s Trukfit Clothing To Hit Macy’s

Lil’ Wayne might of hit the jackpot with his Trukfit clothing line. Wayne locked up a deal with Macy’s, which will make his designs available at the chain by the end of the month. To the delight of Weezy fans, the YMCMB star will also hit one of the chain’s retail locations in a spot appearance.

Brand director Mike Morris explained that linking Wayne’s clothing with Macy’s is a perfect fit.

“Trukfit is a state of mind. It is about being oneself, having fun, being free and being able to express all these elements. We are thrilled to be able to offer Trukfit at Macy’s, an iconic retailer with as much as energy and heart as our brand. Lil Wayne is a favorite rapper and Macy’s is a favorite shopping destination – a perfect fit,” Morris told Hip-Hop Wired.

Trukfit will be launched in Macy’s stores on June 1^st . The first 150 fans to buy $75 worth of Trukfit items or DGK products will have a chance to meet Wayne and his skateboarding associate Stevie Williams (DGK), at a meet and greet in Los Angeles.

Tunechi explained the name of his clothing line when by saying, as a kid he’d buy clothes from the back of a truck. “When a person could spot a fake, they’d be like ‘you got on the truck fit. So now it’s cool to have on the Truckfit, ya dig.”
