This summer is already expected to be one of the hottest seasons ever, but we’re not talking about the weather. Instead we’re talking about the hot tours, concerts, events and festivals. You can add the Essence Music Festival to your list of weekend-long events to attend because the lineup is growing with intensity week to week with new announcements of who’s hitting the stage.
We’ve just received word that Hip Hop star and actress Eve is returning to the stage at the annual festival in New Orleans. We’re so excited to hear that she’s back to what brought her much fame and success years ago. Supporting her spotlight at the Essence Music Festival are a bevy of other talented artists and musicians already named in the lineup including R&B singer Keyshia Cole, ladies of SWV, soul man Raheem DeVaughn, ‘American Idol’ star Fantasia and former Floetry member Marsha Ambrosius.
